Things about stuff by people for somebody.

I feel like New Mexico is probably one of the most forgotten states in all of the United States. I don’t know why that is, the drive I have take a handful of times from Flagstaff,AZ to Albuquerque, NM is beautiful and almost silent. It holds a powerful presence over you as you cruise through the barren landscape, littered with big rocks and giant paper mache dinosaurs.

The people also seem to be really cool, I met a guy there out on the street who taught me how to play dominoes and bought me coffee, when he heard I had played a show in town. Soft powerful place. Makes me think of one of my favorite tapes I own too. This REIGHNBEAU EP that was given to me by a really nice guy named Bryce Hample in exchange for a collage.

This release buzzes quietly with tape fuzz, but haunting guitar stylings jeer the listener around all over the place. It feels really tragic from start to finish. You get an overwhelming but refreshing sense of great loss and it’s nice. It’s a winter release, best listened to in the cold night or morning with some warm drink. Eerie folk that will haunt you to the core. Recommend checking it out!
